Well, my mind’s idle, so I might as well write this.
My very first introduction to games was Duck Hunt and Mario Bros on an NES while on vacation. At the age of six, I was hooked.
I had a second-hand Super Nintendo for about a week, then got an N64 when that broke (when I say ‘got’, I mean was given by my parents). My first real, full-length game was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This was soon followed up by Banjo-Kazooie. I beat both of these games within a week of getting them. Following this, I ended up with a Gamecube an original Xbox (which I didn’t want at first), and an Xbox 360.
I made the jump to the “hardcore” realm of gaming three years ago, when my father bought me Halo 3. Up until that point, I really hadn’t had an introduction to anything beyond Smash Bro’s on the Gamecube. I enjoyed this immensely, and made the leap into the hardcore gaming camp. I can hold my own against most people in most games (sans fighting - missed the boat on that one), and am considered the best player in most games that my circle of friends play (once again, sans fighting games and MW2).
I’m pretty sure that, at this point, it’s a lifelong passion.
Current Consoles: PC, 360, Wii (if you call the Wii a console… I only do b/c of Mario and Zelda), DS (same opinion as that of the Wii)
